Marcelo Meleiro was awarded his black belt by myself in the year 2004 and has achieved a level of accomplishment as a jiu jitsu fighter and trainer that places him in the category of athletes who has risen to the very top of his field. He has been developing his jiu jitsu skills with me sinse Nova Uniao’s inception in 1994 and has alaways been consistent in his devotion to practicing and teaching. He is one of my most dedicated and hard working students, a devoted and hardworking instructor and he makes a positive impact on those he comes in contact with wherever he goes. I believe that Marcelo’s having attained the highest level of technical knowledge, coupled with his innate abilleity to teach and his experience as one of an elite group of instructors within our internationally reconized organization.”
